On Aug. 11, the Nutrabolt team set out to serve 1,000 hours in a single day. And on our first-ever Nutrabolt Service Day, we smashed our volunteerism goal by serving a total of 1,490 hours for 63 different worthwhile organizations across the world!

The Nutrabolt mantra is to ‘grow and give back.’ And to the passionate people at Nutrabolt, this mantra is much more than words. It’s a serious part of our performance culture! That’s why Nutrabolt provides its teammates with dedicated volunteer time off.

“I love working for Nutrabolt because their mantra is ‘grow and give back,’ and I think that embodies everything I want to do,” says Austin-based teammate Crystal.

This summer, with teammates spread across the U.S. – and across the world – Nutrabolt set aside one special day for our people to come together in charitable spirit, use their volunteer time off perk, and do good work in their home communities. While all of our teammates may not have been physically in a single location, they certainly came together as one team to make a collective positive impact. And the results will warm your heart.

Teammates showed up in full force in their communities completing projects that helped the planet, pets, and people for all. From food banks to animal shelters, youth programs to elder care, beach clean ups and more – we learned a lot about what makes our teammates tick.

“We all aspire to give back to our community, to give back to the less fortunate. And to be able to do something like this – to this magnitude – is just an incredible thing to be able to do,” said teammate Xavier in San Diego.

Teammates were empowered to fully follow their hearts, and use their time in a way that would best fulfill their personal passion points. In our home of Austin, Texas, 100 teammates gathered to pack boxes with healthy snacks and backpacks with the supplies our local kids needed to kick off the school year right. In pockets all over the U.S., Canada, and London – groups of 5, 10, and 20 gathered together to make connections with teammates near them while serving meaningful charities. Many teammates got their families to join in the fun, and spread the most good. Others served solo making birthday cards for foster children, and much more.

We’re proud of our people for putting their passion in to action during our first-ever Nutrabolt Service Day, and we’re already looking forward to next year!
